Yes, indeed! We're on TWITTER. In case you missed the announcement on our homepage or didn't spot the little Tweetie bird in the lower right corner, St. Martin's has added another avenue of communication. If you're interested--and so inclined please follow us on TWITTER to keep up with the happenings here at St. Martin's.  @stmartinswmbg

You can follow us three different ways--use a web browser to visit the Twitter site, use a smartphone app to access Twitter, or even easier -- use the handy Twitter box right on our homepage to check announcements. (Also located on the announcements page.) If using the handy little Twitter box, the mini up-down arrows in the lower corner will move you through the tweets. Look for all types of information and  tidbits short and to the point !

Grab your grubbies and please show up to give us a hand, sprucing up the grounds. We'll start at 8:00 and hopefully finish by noon. Thanking you in advance for your help--Buildings and Grounds Committee

Looking ahead within 2012, it's time to begin planning for the SECOND QUARTER MINISTRY SCHEDULE. Our current schedule of Sunday volunteers runs through the end of March. Ministry leaders are asked to PLEASE contact the volunteers with whom you work -- to designate assignments for the upcoming schedule.  A detailed email to MINISTRY LEADERS with reporting features will follow shortly.

Thank you.

Thank you! And Pledge Update-  We thank those who have responded in faith to the invitation to pledge to St. Martin's Church for the year 2012.  To date, $588,741 has been pledged, an increase of $1,170 over the 2011 pledge total.  Our initial goal of $701,506 was revised downward by the vestry in December as a conservative measure.  However, in doing so, we acknowledged a scenario in which we would not increase the budget for Outreach Ministries and would not fund an increase to our diocesan pledge or handyman services as much as we feel we ought.  The Vestry remains hopeful that households that have not yet turned in their pledge for 2012 might do so now and enable us to have a more complete forecast of 2012.
