Attention  lay leaders, committee chairs, vestry members and other interested parishioners--registration for Bishop's Days for Parish Leadership 2011 is now open (deadline is Oct. 3 for the EAST and Oct. 10 for the WEST).  This year's theme is: Bringing Our Shared Vision to Life: Best Practices for Transforming Ministry.  There will be 13 great workshops to choose from 
(one by our own Rev. Shirley), time with our Bishop, networking and sharing ideas and great resources to bring back to St. Martin's.  To learn more about the workshops and register, click HERE.

Bernice will share from her work experience as a mortgage banker and helping to run a family business and her personal experience of loss.  She was motivated to share this because:  " In recent years the role of caregiver and widow have led me to realize the need to offer a program which will simplify the financial aspect of  daily life alone."
